Feel the Glory

For the 2016 Rio Olympics, Samsung wanted fans back home to feel what it was like to represent our country on the world’s biggest stage. So we created an immersive 360˚ VR activation that put you in the shoes of our gold medalist 49er sailors – Peter Burling & Blair Tuke.   

While the world’s best were competing in Rio, over 55,000 fans experienced what it was like to feel Olympic glory at our activations across the country, with social content claiming a further 7 million engagements across Samsung’s social channels. Now that deserves a national anthem.
